Nala is twelve years old and somehow gets sweeter, sillier, and more lovable with every grey hair. She has the gentlest soul, the most expressive golden eyes, and a way of making people fall in love with her almost instantly.
Watching Nala grow into her senior years helped deepen the love for old dogs that eventually led to Gren Village. She may be one little dog, but the impact she has had reaches far beyond her own life. To us, that is what makes her a top pet.
How to support Nala
Visit Nala's official Top Pets page beginning October 4 and cast your vote. Sharing her page also helps more people discover Nala and the senior dogs at the heart of Gren Village.
Voting opens October 4, 2026 at 5:00 AM Eastern.
Vote for NalaHow Gren Village could benefit
Top Pets includes two potential fundraising opportunities connected with Nala's participation. These awards are not guaranteed, and Gren Village does not receive money simply because someone votes.
- If another pet enters through Nala's referral link and that referred pet ultimately wins, Gren Village could receive the $2,000 referral prize.
- People entering their pets can select Gren Village as their “Charity of Your Choice.” If Gren Village is selected for the Top Pets $1,000 Rescue Grant, the sanctuary could receive that additional award.
Every vote and share still matters because it helps tell Nala's story and introduces more people to Gren Village and the senior dogs we are working to support.
